Lots to update, but it's late, and I'm going to bed.
Suffice to say a family breach twenty-four years old seems to be over, and I spent time at last with my Aunt Connie and Uncle David, Dad's brother. The two of them together are utterly hysterical in a deadpan, smart-ass, Jackie-Mason, Jewish way.
And I got most of a corset finished, thank G-d. To the point where I could write my client and say, "It's an hour from done, when/where do you want it?" That's one. How many to go?
Bed.

Date: 2006-06-05 03:51 pm (UTC)My dad and his oldest brother never made up and both went to their deaths not talking to each other. Unfortunately it was my dad that couldn't forgive his brother for trying to kill him, so he said, with a barrel of beer when they were in their 40's.
