It's dead, Jim.
May. 21st, 2006 01:09 amI never backed up my photos. I never backed up my letters. I never backed up TRIAZZLE, DAMMIT!
But worst of all? I never backed up my novel.
I'm feeling slightly sick, and fair heartbroken. It's just not responding to anything. The guy at the Genius Bar at the Ardmore store was nice, but grim.
Just shoot me.
ETA:
Hallelujah. I did back up more recently than I thought-- almost exactly a year ago. And I've worked on one part since then, which is in an email file at my office. So all is not lost. That I know of, that is. I know there's stuff on that hard drive I won't realise is irreplaceable til it's gone. Isn't that always the way?
