I've finished hemming my own skirt. I've finished the lace top. I've even put crystals on it, though I've left stitching in the elastic for Saturday morning for good luck. The hearts are on the skirt. The hem is turned. The snaps are in. All the last-minute things are done, though I may add some crystals later once these are dry and have set. Earlier today, I bought makeup for the bride, and some peel-off masques, and foot- and hand-care kits.

I have a headache the size of a small New England state; I had had one the size of a far larger Western state, but it's died down. I'm desperate for sleep, though, so off I go. I'll try to get moving as early as I can, but it's going to be mid-afternoon before I'm there, I know.


I had a moment where I allllmost cried. I cannot WAIT to see this all put together.
