Morning phone call.

This morning, the lovely emalia left a message on my voicemail much like her LJ entry, namely:


What will The Shrub have to say for himself this evening?

1. I am not a crook.
2. I did not have sexual relations with that woman.
3. There are weapons of mass destruction still hidden in Iraq.
4. They really want us there, shooting our boys that is just their way of welcoming us.


To which I left a voicemail in respone:

"No, I believe he'll say something akin to: 'I'm smart! SMRT! Ooo-- donuts!'"

I realised a few minutes later it's more true than I'd thought-- he'll tell us how brilliant his plan is, then distract us with something entirely different.

I wish I wasn't permeated with disappointment and depression about my government. It'd be nice to believe in my country again.

oh yizzie, you just don't understand do you? saddam OBVIOUSLY had WMD, because they're killing our boys and girls now. he cleverly disguised his WMD as an agressive resistance force that opposes occupation. how foolish of you not to see it.

Heh... You actually know a gal. :-D Her name is Sgt. Tammie Crawford. She's great people. She actually had a hit taken out on her by an animal hoarder. Thankfully, they found out about it before anything happened.

Heh, perhaps we need to take Jin Rummy's approach to this (character on The Boondocks): The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. Perhaps only then will our government begin to make any form of sense if we think thet obscurely.
