I still get chills now and again. I still get anxious, and I still get giggly, and I still get sad, and I still get hopeful. I'm seeing him again in two weeks, and the week after that. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

They say of you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it comes back to you and it still isn't yours, though, can you crack it upside the head?


Oh. And did I mention I sort of have a new job? With people I actually like? Aww, yeah.

I know. I don't have an answer for that one. It's taken Himself and I a long time to get clear on our positions. In fact, we're still muddling through. Time works a lot of it out. You look up one day and realize you have been muddling through successfully for quite some time.

I hope something like that happens for you.

You know, in a way, after a decade now, I think we may have reached a similar point. He said it first: this is what we do; this is the way we're probably always going to be with each other. We just have to find a way to walk this line.
