All hail the absolute glory that is

On Sunday, Anita and I tore like whirlwinds through Lowes and IKEA. I bought shelves, and organisational plastic thingies-- the scientific term-- and we planned out major changes for my environment, building on the plans I'd started, and Mom had encouraged. Then, last night, Barb actually volunteered to help me put said plans further into motion. Fortified with Chik-Fil-A, we got more shelves, reorganised The Never-Ending Closet of Doom-- which now needs a new name-- and put up the "pretty" shelves in my horrific backroom/studio, which will need a new name...er, soon. Not yet.
So now there's trash all over, bits and pieces of scattered crap, and it STILL looks like a bomb has gone off. But I' ecstatic: I've never in my life been so organised. I'm euphoric. I know Barb is probably remembering the wreck she saw and wondering if perhaps I need new medication, but trust me-- it'll all be done soon. As I quoted last night, some projects look their worst when they're 98% done.
Perhaps relatedly, I couldn't sleep last night. And I'm wired now. Perhaps, of course, this has something to do with a brief conversation last night about tomorrow. Nerves and neurochemicals.
And yes, I'm counting down.
