All week, it's pink everything. I saw an ad for a hideous pink cell phone at which I just could not stop staring. Completely unrelated people have confessed their secret longing for or abhorrence of the colour. Yesterday saw a particularly salacious epistolary exchange hinging on the varied definitions of the word itself.

What? What? Am I supposed to dye my hair? Buy a CD? Paint the dog? Tell me, O Fortuna, tell me!

Question: What is with the Pink? What is the Universe Telling Ysobelle?

The Fairy Ring deck in the Past, Present, Future layout.

Morgan le Fay - Reversed in the Past position.

A card in the left position indicates what has happened to affect your question in the past.

When Morgan le Fay appears reversed in your spread, you find yourself in a situation beyond your control. Others are orchestrating events, and for now you will just have to go along with them until an opportunity to express your desires and exert your will presents itself.

Gruagach - Reversed in the Present position.

A card in the middle position indicates what is affecting your question at this time.

The Gruagach reversed indicates empty forms and rituals, going through the motions, being stuck in a rut, and boredom. There may be family disagreements about wills and legacies, or perhaps a change of residence.

Tryamour in the Future position.

A card in the right position indicates your questions future.

When Tryamour appears in your cards, she implies a choice of some kind. In this case, you are deciding with your heart, rather than your head. However, you should consider carefully, as all options have far-reaching consequences. If the card is well aspected (surrounded by helpful cards), it can point to harmony and true love. If it is badly aspected, it shows that a relationship will be tested to the breaking point.

Truthfully, I think this is about your business.

Past: You've felt like no matter how hard you try, it's not progressing as fast as you'd like, and at the same time it feels too fast. You don't have the control you want. Wanting the business to take off, and on the other hand, still wanting the Stability of a "regular" job.

Present: You're not happy at work. You feel like someone else is going to work every day is almost like you're watching yourself from outside your body. Your trying to change things but are still scared of it. The Boredom and the Stuck/rut feelings are a result.

Future: You've got a rough patch coming. Nothing earth shattering, but the fact is, that hedging your bets, and putting off making choices is hurting you. The decision to NOT decide, is still a decision. Get me? If you want to have your business, you have to give it your all, with your head, instead of only emotionally.

Well, at the moment, it's not much of a decision. I can't afford to quit my day job yet, as they say. But in a few years, yes.

I'm wondering if it's about my trainwreck of a love life.

and just this morning I was devising attempts to take over the world and make everyone wear pink. i am so subtle and subversive that I am not even aware that my plans are already in motion.

I suppose I am no longer needed for a reading now. :( Although quite derned nifty on the one presented!
I woudl alos like to note that the reason I am pining for the pink airwalk sneakers is because the boys' brand is orange and navy and looks like ass. And while I have never dyed my hair pink I have died it my favorite color....aka-Barn red, Fire engine red, Profusely Hemmoraging Gash-colored Red. AND....there are photos. ^_^

You know, you'd look kinda cool with a few strips of the bubble gum-pink stuff....off to the left side of your head. I'll dye mine blue if you dye yours pink. *grin*

Oh, man. Hm. I wonder what they'd do around here? I already know I'd get "spoken to" if I wore my nose ring.

And now the lunatic fringe speaks...

Maybe it's just the visual equivalent of an Earworm (a song that gets stuck in your head). Since Earworms can be overcome by listening to the song in your head, maybe you just need to make/buy/look at/eat/paint something pink to exorcise the color.

That could be fun, depending on how adventurous you wanna get...

Just like Lorelei Gilmore's. I'd call it really more of a magenta, though. I saw cool phones like this in Japan years ago, and we finally are starting to get funky colors and good features on phones here in the States.

That's very...um...yeah. Okay. Okay, yes, I'll admit it. It's kinda cool. I want one in purple and blue and green and black-- I want a peacock phone!

This pink dress is awesome!
