ysobelleJenny's back, but she'll probably return to the hospital later today. Mon's out of surgery, and apparently it went well. But she's not out of ICU, and they have to go in again to remove the fluid from her lung.
I'm stricken with horrible thoughts about how pointless it is, and I hate that. I've MET her. Were it not for the scarves and hats to cover her bare scalp, you wouldn't know. She's always been so bright and sweet-- she and her sister both are some of the best kinds of people. And Jenny's looked me in the eye and told me there's no ultimate hope for Mon defeating the cancer-- just staving it off as long as possible.
