Once again, my apartment looks like a bomb's gone off in it. But this is a good thing. Why? Because I've finally tackled The Closet of Neverending Doom.

I swear, I threw all my crap in there just after I moved in here, and shut the door. I put the dog crate in front of it when I started crating Clue-puppy. Then, when I was done with that crate, I put her bigger one in the same spot. And now, going through the piles of useless crap that was taking up space there, I find most of it's from 2001 and 2002.

I have Photohop, Aldus Freehand, and Quark XPress that are at least six, maybe seven years old. My sister-- to whom they originally belonged-- has first dibs. After that, anyone want them? For Mac, remember.

I threw out the ancient coffee table-- in pieces-- that originally came with The Couch of Infinite Comfiness, donated from Gina down in Florida.

I finally threw out the dead television set that I was sure I couldn't take out to the dumpster myself. I was wrong: I just had to carry it on my head.

I threw out the duct tape dummy we made of Kristi. Didn't look much like her, anyway.

I threw out the old, flat pillows, and the velour blanket that no, actually, CANNOT be thrown into the washing machine and/or dryer.

Best of all, though? I found the matched set of four Alphonse Mucha prints (the star series for those playing along at home) which I bought years ago, and have been looking for forever. I saw them last week on eBay, and promised myself that I'd clean out the damned closet this week, and if they weren't there, I'd buy them. Lo and behold, here they are. Now I just have to frame the bastards. That's going to cost the earth.

There's dried blood on my leg. I guess the closet bit back. Hm.

Well, I'm dog-tired, and it's not even Wednesday. Past bedtime. I'm feeling somewhat accomplished, so I should nod off before I screw something up.

Check IKEA for picture frames.

They carry a huge selection of sizes at very reasonable cost. Even if you have to be creative with making some sort of mat if you can't get the exact size and have to go bigger, it'll be way cheaper than taking them to a frame shop (even one of those 'frame it yourself' joints).

Yeah, that's where I got the one I bought last week. The problem is, these are very long and thin, so a store-bought frame's going to be nigh unto impossible to find. Besides which, I want a dramatic matt, and IKEA's no good for that.

Did someone say they wanted a dramatic Matt?

It looked like I'd murdered somebody in my shorts.

Can you do a hair-tie corset bit?
