I personally hope that they starve themselves to death.. I am cruel but I personally could give two fucks about these people. What do they thing they are going to accomplish? Nothing.

Yeah, but no one knows if they've DONE anything! They're being held on suspicion: they've never been charged, much less given any trials.

And warehousing them like inanimate objects without any rights isn't worthy of this country. Or it wasn't a few years ago.

Then perhaps they should try the legal way of getting things done, through representation. The families can file a suit, or be public about it. They could raise enough stink.. But starving yourself is stupid. It will get nothing accomplished.

They HAVE. They've had lawyers, they've brought suit, they've had the ACLU in there-- nothing. The US has slapped so many restrictions on any potential visit by the UN, the UN said, "Fuck you." These men are in limbo, with no end in sight. If someone picked you up off the street and said, "We think you've done something, but you don't get a trial. We're just gonna throw you in jail. And you don't get a lawyer, either," the entire country would have screaming fits. But because these guys are Muslims from Pakistan and Iran and Iraq, everyone assumes they're guilty and doesn't care what happens to them.

Even that bastard Hussein gets a trial.
