Indian sari silk YARN-- what's the going rate for the stuff? What's a good price? Can you get it in the States, or is eBay better?

I've been looking at it lately. So far, I've found it in a yarn store here, but it was out of my price range! I've found a few online stores that carry it, but the best prices seem to be on Ebay. The going rate there seems to be about 10 skeins (1000 grams or 600 yards) are $23-25.
http://knitting-yarn-store.com/knitty.htm is one place to look, too.
Whatcha want to make?

I recommend www.littleknits.com for the recycled indian/tibetan sari silk. Sometimes you get the stuff via ebay and it's been joined with regular yarn, or it has bits of un-knit fibers in it (like straw), etc. and so forth. I was just gifted with two skeins of the tibetan sari silk yarn from that website, about 80 yards per skein, and I unravelled an entire skein and found absolutely no "filler" in it. It's on sale right now at about $11 per skein and they are located in Washington. Very pleasant to work with, too, is the impression I have from their personalized mailing materials, included samples of other yarns they carry, etc.
