Can the rest of the country now teach that the existence of Kansas is unprovable? Maybe it's just that Nebraska goes on forever?

Is it possible that California's finally learned actors are good just about anywhere but high state offices?

Can I believe that Iraq belongs to Iraqis and at the same time believe we've screwed their country up so much that a total and immediate troop withdrawal is the worst possible thing we could do to them?

Where the @#$*( is my wallet?

What the hell does it take to get my coworkers to turn into squirrels and run far, far away?

And as far as that last one goes, I'm so royally pissed off right now after yet another kindergarten-level tattletale episode I've created a word document that says, "Stop looking over my shoulder" in 72pt type, and have it open on my desktop so that I can flash it at a moment's notice. I won't even have to turn around, or open my mouth, to get my message across. Alas, the folks I work with are so monumentally moronic, they probably won't get that I'm talking to them.

Domine ad adjuvandum me festina.

1. Oh, I hope so. His Noodly Majesty demands it.

2. Again - oh, I hope so!

3. A-freaking-men. I don't know what the answer is right now, but I know that it's not a complete withdrawal.

4. Can't help you there.

5. If you find the secret, I will throw piles of cash at you to share it with me. ^_^

Perhaps we should all star flying the 49 star us flag?
Google Image Search for 49 star flag (http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=49+star+us+flag&btnG=Search)

Hrmm...answers, answers...

1. You know, I'm writing my undergraduate thesis on power...maybe I should write about the power of faith, too, because of that whole Big Lie theory. Therefore, if we all get togehter and simply deny that Kansas has ever existed (except maybe as a band) so shall it be? I mean, look at how into revisionist history people seem to be!

2. It is possible! Likely and possible, remember, are two different words not even close to each other in the dictionary. We can only hope for likely, I'm afraid.

3. If I can believe it, you can believe it. Furhtermore, this makes me immeasurably happy, hearing that I and my family are not the only people who think this! *HUG!*

4. Under the couch.

5. I'm afraid that might be blood-magic material, the turning of people into squirrels. Alternately, you could hire a hypnotist to make them THINK they're squirrels. It will have a similar effect, but not be quite as fuzzy and cute. Alas.

*hugs* Sorry to hear about your toddler co-workers O.o I applaud the Message of Annoyance, though. Good luck with that!

Good questions all. [Find answers!]

I will try to answer these questions.

-I believe the first question is that it's already been done, just not to Kansas.

-CA may have learned that (probably not real bona fide "learning" in the classic conditioning sense), however the lesson may be that all those in high state offices and other locations are actors without necessarily the popular billing.

-I think Iraq is more like a patient that needs medication...the fact that the US was the first "doctor" wasn't necessarily the best care for them. So, I'd have to say that letting the patient out on the street without their meds are not the best way....rather a slow gradual process might be best.

-It was on the table between the mac and the stairs, but it fell on the floor.

-That's two separate scrolls you'd have to memorize tonight so you could do it tomorrow. Getting the scrolls will cost you, but I know somebody. Anybody telling you that you can do them both in one scroll is fooling you.

-There's a scroll for that, too, but more entertaining to do the other ones. Why not change them in to hershey kisses and invite all your friends over and we'll eat them?

Hey you! I ran into an old high school teacher, and was feeling nostalgiac, and decided to see who else on LJ went there. Well... what do you know, I saw you went to FSS too!!!! Very cool. We didn't overlap, but we'll DEFINITELY have to compare notes on the place at some point!

BTW, I'm sad I never got to say goodbye at the Faire (nor could I attend the afterparty, stupid work). But it was definitely cool hanging out!

Oh, my G-d. You went there? Wow. I'm trying to remember if I knew that, but I'm not sure I did! What teacher did you run into? I was just thinking of Teacher Connie and Teacher Janet yesterday. I was wondering if I'd automatically lapse back into actually calling them Teacher Connie or Teacher Janet were I to meet them on the street.

Ouf. Nostalgia. Even though I hated the place....

And the Funky Formal was wonderful, but by the end of the night, I'd lost my voice entirely. I'm STILL not 100%. But it was worth it. Maybe next year?

Dangit, someone beat me to it...

*LOL* I was going to say the wallet was under the couch, too. ;)
The rest of it...I watch from afar and realize that these things, as with all things, are simply trends and eventually they will come to pass and be no more in the stream of history, except for a recalling in a book that at one time we were so scared of what was to come that we denied our past.

In the meantime, occasionally I write letters where I feel I haven't murdered a tree uselessly and my words will be heard. But you are already so gifted in this area, I hesitated to mention it. :)
