Please consider going to http://citykitties.org/ and giving them a little dosh in memory of 1ear. I just threw them $25, for 1ear, yes, but also, I think, for Tekiah, who came from under a tree in my development when she was three weeks old; for Simon, who looked at me from a cage at the SPCA when he was 8 weeks old and has been with me ever since; and for Marble (and her sister Meadow, whom few of you have met and who now lives witha friend in Virginia), who was born in the scrub outside a suburban office. Ah, and for Molly, who came to me from an animal shelter in college, and was thrown out again by the roommates of the person I asked to watch her-- an act I'll never, never forgive.
Be well, Kyle. We'll all miss 1ear, whether we met her or not. The world's a better place because of her life, and your heart.
