Well, another year over.

Faire this weekend was slightly unnerving, and a bit depressing, but it had its bright spots. Decisions on the Funky Formal should be done by tonight or tomorrow, and the site flooded with PR this weekend. We have MUCH ground to make up. Jay got to see firsthand just what business's been like this season; he says he no longer thinks it was Emily and me goofing off, which is partly what we were afraid he was going to think. I put two women in my corsets, but didn't sell any. Sigh. Flirted a bit, and, to my surprise a line came out of my mouth I NEVER thought I'd say: "I'm just tired of flirting with unresponsive men." Me? Tired of flirting? G-d. I can't have meant that, can I?

Shirt to make this weekend, and then, by the grace of Jay, more corsets to get out.

In other news, I still despise my job. Hands up, all who're surprised.

Because that's the only way I can see any red-blooded, hetero male being unresponsive when a woman looking as good as you starts flirting with them.
