A Shakespeare meme? Yes, please!
Sep. 23rd, 2005 08:06 pmShe is the fairies' midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the fore-finger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Athwart men's noses as they lie asleep;
Now. Those of you who know me, who can say why this would be my obvious choice?
And by the way-- cos this has been bothering the hell out of me for a long while now-- the word is meme. It's pronounced "Meem." It's not "Me-me." It's not LiveJournal/netspeak. It's a scientific term that refers to the way an idea is spread.
