Just be glad you're not on a Kinky dating service, then you'd get guys who e-mail you half a Gor novel explaining how you'd serve out their fantasy, and letters that start off with "On your knees, B-tch." And worse. It's very amusing to hear people talk about some of the more pathetic ones.

I always lament that this is not the case, but truly, if you want to get what you want out of one of these sites, women should NOT wait around, because the guys who write are 99% of the time assholes. And any decent one gets drowned out. What you need to do is Go looking yourself. YOU make the contact. And your odds are better too, since most of the women won't be doing this, so you'll really stand out.

I'm guessing your note on AIM (I was uploading music to anole360 and went to bed before it was done) was about CB guy? I was stunned by the middle part: Ok with *that* but not chatter? I give it three months, tops.

I would suggest that you stay in touch with him anyway, but for one big thing: I'm wildly unimpressed with that middle part, even in concept. You can do much better than someone who doesn't equate the two.

I didn't even really realise what he was saying there-- I didn't care overmuch. I don't think he was saying he couldn't chat with me, just that he's made his choice. Woohoo for him.

"Next" as in brush your hands off and see what's next on the menu. He sounds like a raging loony. Just a liiittle too hypersensitive. You can do better, too.
