Okay, so let me just say this: if you have any questions about the Tour, ask me. If I don't know, I'll look it up. There's a staggering amount of history, science, strategy, and tradition about this race, and I don't mind researching. Of course, if you don't give a rat's butt, that's fine, too! I can see how you'd think it was insanely dull, Hez, but it's like a game of chess: if you don't know the rules, it's boring as hell to watch. Once you know, though-- it's amazing.

I'm just glad whenever the American team kicks the French team's ass. That alone is reason enough to watch!

And which teams would that be? Lance's team, while sponsored mainly by the American company Discovery Channel, is comprised of Americans, Spaniards, Italians-- even one Czech, and a rider from the Ukraine. The only singular-nationality team is Bouygues Telecom, and while yeah, they're all French, their top rider, Thomas Voeckler, isn't even in the top 15 at the moment.
