I need a monster.

Seriously. Something mostly sentient, unpleasant, and that can dig/travel through the earth. Having multiple arms and/or tentacles would be great, and claws would be grand, too.

Something mythological or out of folklore, not a D&D manual.

I've been searching for days now, and I'd love to not have to make something up.


Any of you freaks have any ideas?
