I may or may not have handled the problem with my iPhone. But one way or the other, I'm very impressed with the folks at AT&T. Not merely because they seem to actually be DOING things, rather than reading me a script, but because almost all the techs with whom I've spoken have been women.

Anyway, they rerouted the iPhone, which means it'll be pulling from different towers now. We'll see if that takes care of the problem. And if it doesn't, they're scheduled to call me back by Thursday, after I've had a few days to see if this has helped. I'm impressed.

The poor woman with whom I spoke sympathised with my long history of telephonic woe-- she's new at AT&T, and still has Sprint, herself.


Oh, and apropos of nothing, I am ridiculously proud of myself for yesterday recognising the Basque flag at the Giro d'Italia. That's another reason I adore watching the Grand Tours-- there's so much to see and so much to learn!
