Last year, I decided I was through with my old, stained down duvet. I mentioned this to Mom, and she, surprisingly, gifted me with a brand-new one from Macy's. It sat in my closet for MONTHS while I tried to find a duvet protector. Not a cover-- I have that-- but a protector. I finally broke down and bought one from Williams-Sonoma. Bastard cost more than the duvet itself. Now, at last, after half-an-hour of wrestling with duvet, protector, and cover, I have my amazing new duvet on my bed, and am currently snuggled beneath it.

Just in time for the weather to finally turn warm, of course.
