Whoa, I've been violating these rules like a fiend and never knew it. I blame my friend Tamara, who taught me how to eat sushi about ten years ago. I have to say, the nigiri rule was like a forehead slap---I KNEW there was something wrong from an engineering standpoint with soaking a soft wad of rice grains in soy sauce. Now I get it, I've been eating it upside-down! Dur.
Next time I go out, I'll be a better sushi devotee!
