When did being Madame become "being Mommy" or "being schoolyard monitor"?

Honestly, I know it's because I'm sick, and I still do care about these people individually, but honest to fucking G-d, there are entirely too many days lately I just want to throw up my hands and say "I don't give a fuck who gets along with whom any more. Be adults. We're a social group, not your parents."

I'm just venting. I DO want everyone to get along. I just don't see how dragging the Guild into it does anything but exacerbate a problem.

Sadly, I could see a big, vent-y email to my Local upcoming. I just don't want to make all the women who have absolutely nothing to do with it go "erf?"

People need to just put on their big girl panties. Personal issues with another is not for the Madame to fix. Only if said actions directly affect the IWG and Local as a whole should you step in.

That's one of the things I really want to tackle this Winter/Spring: doing more stuff just for fun. We tried everything to get more Walks going, to get people more involved-- nothing seemed to work. SO I'm hoping we can connect more in the off-season, and come back next year with a little more fun.

Are you on the Musettes list and the IWG forums? Those help a great deal.
