"Brothers should pull up their pants. You are walking by your mother, your grandmother, your underwear is showing. What's wrong with that? Come on. Some people might not want to see your underwear. I'm one of them."
-- President-elect Barack Obama

Date: 2008-11-19 01:05 am (UTC)I tell my sixth graders "you don't want to see MY underwear, now do you?!"
That usually gets my idea across. :D
On a giggleworthy side note: last year, one young man leaned across a lab table to reach a pencil and I (and the rest of the class) received a view of his underwear-free backside. *cringe*
Two years ago, I stepped into the hallway with a student to discuss his behavior, and while I was reading him the riot act, his ghetto-length waistline suddenly gave in to the inexorable pull of gravity. I nearly died, trying to hold my laughter in and keep my face straight!!
