Frustrated again.

So my desktop tells me, as it has for years now, that it's almost full. I have a second drive that has sixteen gigs free. But I have no idea what I can move and what I can't. My Applications folder? My extensions? I don't think I can, but I don't know. Never mind the fact that when I try to move something to the second drive, I get asked to authenticate said second drive. Again.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Move data. Old financial information that you don't need on a daily basis, old orders that are completed...that kind of stuff.

Your best bet is to probably get a larger drive, and reinstall the system onto that. I haven't worked with Macs for years, so I forget exactly how the various folders work.

Burn data to discs and clear some space on the drive?
I have to do that from time to time... I tend to collect weird stuff.
