Thanks to http://www.canivote.org, I got to tell my aunt tonight that not only is her registration still valid, but her polling place is IN HER BUILDING. She is absolutely thrilled-- she can vote tomorrow! I've done my good deed!
And it occurs to me I haven't updated about her in a while. I'm ecstatic to be able to say she's doing GREAT. She's been home about three weeks now, and while she now has a home health aide daily, she is in excellent spirits, and her doctor is very, very pleased. She also started Lexapro, and it's made, oh, G-d, such a difference.
I'm so very happy.
And it seems my LJ has lost a few friends. Oh, well. C'est la 'net.

It's just easier to find the other posts if you don't have to scroll past page-long ones to get to them. Anything long like that: newspaper articles, book reviews, anything with a lot of photos, just goes better when it's behind a cut.
