snugglyevil wasn't feeling so hot-- which is funny, cos I spent most of the day not feeling so great myself-- and she was to have been my ride, so we decided on dinner at Kabuki, followed by-- gasp!-- grocery shopping. I don't love grocery shopping (I must take after my Mom there), but having company made it enjoyable. The problem, of course, was carting everything upstairs afterwards. But I finally, FINALLY, have food in my apartment. I literally haven't done any serious grocery shopping in maybe a month. I'm eating like a pig, and it's dreadful. Ugh. At any rate, I sincerely apologise to the fabulous hosts upon whom I bailed.
Apropos of nothing, I have to ask a question of all in general that occurred to me tonight: is it really that surprising that I love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac? I find when I tell people about that, they look at me as if I'd grown another head. "You? You're kidding, right?"
