I sort of sprang awake this morning at about 10.30, after only six or so hours of sleep. Now I feel like I need a nap. I did get two things accomplished today, though: I got a new sketchbook so I can complete my outstanding order patterns, and I got some fabric paints to work a little more on the blue painted corset.

Okay, I lied: I did get ONE more thing accomplished. I walked into and out of Best Buy after holding a Doctor Who box set in my hands-- and I didn't buy anything. I am very, very bad at impulse control. And I wanted this very, very badly. But the ramp on my booth will cost me almost $1,000, and that's about all I have to my name. So I was very, very good. I'm so impressed I could cry. Maybe I'll just weep anyway.

Surly, call me when you get home. I need to know what you have to bring me. And can we do Sunday instead of Saturday? I actually have to work Saturday! Imagine that!

Wellllll...we only got the inspector out a few weeks ago. And he pointed out that it's twice the rise allowable by code. So out it comes.
