I can't sleep. Yeah, yeah-- that personal crap from a few weeks ago that I hoped might be resolved...not so much. I have a bad feeling it just can't be fixed.

So in the interests of distracting myself, I finished the last two episodes of Doctor Who season one. The '05 season one, that is. The changing of the guard, so to speak. Wow. I SO have my geek on right now. Such exciting stuff! I chewed off two nails, which I usually only do during good movies. And it's odd-- I really didn't think I'd like Chris Eccleston much, but in the end, I very much grew to. I'm still not sure of the significance of those particular words-- "bad wolf"-- but it was certainly a good ending.

Now, of course, I have to wait for the next few episodes to download. And once I get to faire season, I'll try to pick up all the seasons on DVD. Dammit. I am absolutely NO good at this delayed gratification thing.

Other end of the spectrum, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sjbpharmd for the use of his boy brain and muscles. He and the glorious [livejournal.com profile] mirroreyes, who has borne down on me with the express purpose of getting me organised for Fling and Faire, rearranged my living room this evening. I generally don't like furniture arrangements with everything around the walls, but I've also given up the laughable illusion that I work from home. No, I live at work. Good thing I love my job, and can have animals in my studio.

[livejournal.com profile] mirroreyes and I have much to do tomorrow. Sigh. She's been asleep a while on her airbed in the newly cleared what-used-to-be-a-living-room. Me? Still not so much with the sleepy.

What a craptacular few weeks this has been.

There still is NO real meaning to these words. They made absolutely no sense, no explanation behind them, no reference to her character, etc. etc. etc.

It's either an inside joke, or something they screwed up in editing, or something they meant to explain early on but forgot (bad writing?)

Your best bet is to download each episode shortly after it airs. I would bet you might know someone who could give them to you on CD or DVD already so you don't have to wait or hunt them down.

Chris E. is brilliant as the Doctor - although David Tennant has REALLY grown on me, too. If you think season one was gut-wrenching, just wait until you watch season two. *glee* You're in for a heck of a treat!

*hugs* I'm sorry the personal issues are coming to a head. I wish I was closer so I could help! :(
