Rather than whining any more, lemme say this:

I have a lot of stock. Mucho. In other words, I have corsets to sell. Preeetty corsets. Normally $300, $400, $450, $500 and a naughty schoolgirl outfit for $600. If you're in the market, seeing as how I am pathetically broke, $50 off for anything I currently have. If you'd like to place an order, also $50 off.

I have solids, patterned, embroidered, three-lace, and five-lace. All manner of sizes. Just ask!



ETA: I'd love to put up photos, but ALL my mannequins are in Virginia. Even the heavy vintage one. My corsets look very silly on hangers or pillows. And while the corset communities are probably something I'll do when I'm done with the show, I'm walking the line between getting a sale nownownow and still having stock for the end of VARF and for Fling.

I can certainly send a photo to anyone who's interested- I just don't want to post yucky photos for general consumption. Make sense?

here on lj, they'll go like hotcakes if you show photos and list your prices.

All of these would be great places to show off your stuff
and drum up some business. Post progress pictures, finished things,
it gets people interested in you and dying to order. Fairs are great,
but these sites might really increase your custom orders.

I also suggest adding your new corsets to your webpage gallery.
The more you update it the more people will keep looking to see
what you're up to. Generating interest for you website is good.
People like eyecandy. Show it off, and they'll remember it when
they have money.

Oh, I have a whooole overhaul to the site planned. But my webmistress just got a new job, and she's been swamped. I don't wanna stress her out at the moment. Later, though....

And yeah, I want to add a "Currently Available" section, and a "New Fabrics" section. And one for customers' photos. I haf plaaans!

Rather than have ysobelle post to these communities, if you're already a semi-active member, it'd be better for you to post about it for her. ESPECIALLY if she's got photos of the current stock. (subtle nudge there, huh?).

The photos don't have to be wonderful, even just the corsets themselves on a rack or such so people can see the colors. If you have photos of the stock, plus a glamour shot (before and after photos anyone?)

Then the advertising is more impactful. Because then she's not shilling, but someone else is letting people in on a special sale.

I've come here from a community, if you have anything that will fit about 32, 28, 30 (bust waist hip) in stock I should be able to take it off your hands...those are estimated measurements, if you have something around that, I will find the measuring tape to make sure.
