First goal met.
Nov. 9th, 2007 06:52 pmI've been seeing my trainer since September 11th. That first session, I spent six minutes on the elliptical and had to get off before I threw up. Yesterday, I was on the elliptical for ten minutes to warm up, then another twenty-five an hour later.
Now, my weight varies day to day, of course, but as of this morning, I was down eight pounds. It may not sound like much, and it's a fraction of what I WANT to lose, but it's the first sustained weight loss I've had since, I think...1994? And that was my first goal: just to start losing weight in the first place.
I'm also going to try to concentrate more on what my nutritionist is telling me-- I've been slacking off there. Still, I feel good. Very good. And this is all in time for my physical on Tuesday. Huzzah!
