A little progress.
Aug. 30th, 2007 04:50 amWhilst waiting for Bill to remember he's supposed to bring me the fairly important pieces I stupidly left at faire, and which I'd hoped he'd bring by Monday, I banged out most of a very small stock piece tonight. I'm especially impressed with myself since one of the pattern pieces was missing, I don't have my pattern paper, and I didn't feel like digging for the original pattern. So I winged it-- and it turned out perfectly. It's a deep, dark burgundy, and it's tiny: I have a good amount of stock at the show, but almost nothing in what you'd call an extra-small.
Tomorrow, I'm going to try to finish Rhoda's new pattern-- which is making me slightly bonkers, but will very much be worth it in the end-- and work on finishing up the last of the Fling pieces. I think I have two of them. I also have to finish and send out a piece from Fairie Fest, as its new owner will not now, alas, be coming to Faire.
So now it's time for bed. Which'd be more appealing were I actually, you know, tired.
