Yes, Scott did indeed say he was going to rip out my entire booth if it wasn't finished tonight. With a front-end loader. He was apparently completely serious.

I immediately called Craig, who had already left work in New Jersey early to go finish the booth, in near-hysterics. He has more sweat and blood invested in that wood than I do, at this point. As do Will, Athena, James, John, Bill, Angela, Bree, Lisa, Audrey, and everyone else who helped out. Craig reassured me that everything would indeed done this evening.

"Well, you said it'd be done last night," Carrie said.

"Were you THERE last night? Did you SEE the rain and the lightning??? They worked until it was literally too dangerous to use the power tools! These guys are KILLING themselves to do this booth for me, for FREE! He TOUCHES that booth, and I will kill him with my bare hands!"

"I know, I know, I love you, and I swear I'm gonna give you a huge hug when this is all over-- I just have to tell you what he said!"

Thank G-d, I got a call at 9pm tonight-- that's NINE AT NIGHT-- from Craig: he was just packing up, and the booth is finshed. It's done. Stage one, at least, is complete, and ready for Celtic Fling. One of the ramps is in the middle instead of on the side, but at this point, that's fine. It's done, it's beautiful, and the first person to mess it up in any way dies.
