see, your logic is flawed.
you can bang your head *just* as nicely on a wall.
the bonuses are two-fold: firstly, you loose no counter space, HUZZAH!!
secondly, you don't run the risk of loosing any front teeth or breaking your nose on the horizontal object betwixt you and the floor when you accidentally bang too hard one too many times and knock yourself unconscious :o)
