I've tried from home and from work to upload photos into the MayFaire Moon galleries. The gorgeous photos I took this weekend that I love so. Every time I try, they come out grainy, horribly low-res, and green.

It's definitely time for bed.

Have you tried using a Mac? I've seen these commercials that say they're instantly compatible with everything.

(I know I'll be paying for that somehow...)

check and see if they are 300 dpi.
If you upload 300 dpi photos to the web they come
out looking awful and pixelated for some reason
(I made the mistake on my page and it took
me weeks to figure out what the hell was wrong with it)

The dpi shouldn't cause them to look grainy or low res. If anything, if the image is in CMYK format or if it's being uploaded via FTP in ASCII instead of Binary format, it might come out looking that way, since web jpegs are meant to be in RGB format, not CMYK.

Ysobelle - tag me online tonight and we'll figure it out.

Well no. Just because it's happening on your system doesn't make it fact, especially if you haven't ruled out other issues regarding the format of the file and transfer protocol. It could be the way your server is configured, something quirky about your file format, the software you're using to put the files on the server, etc. It is not the mere fact that the images are 300 dpi, I can assure you of that.
