This weekend.
Aug. 4th, 2009 08:54 pmI gave all the stock and fabric and details to Allie. I will not be at Faire opening weekend.
Marble didn't have her surgery Friday. I took her up first thing in the morning, but no sooner had I gotten home than Dr. Winkler, the surgeon, called to ask "Did you know marble has a severe heart murmur?" Well, no.
So we held off the surgery until Monday, until we could determine if she had just a heart murmur, or heart disease. She had an echocardiogram last night, and it showed no, no heart disease. Just the murmur. So we scheduled the surgery for this morning.
Marble came through surgery well, but her liver is full of masses. We won't know if they're cancerous for three to five days, til the biopsies come back. She may come home tomorrow, or Thursday. Either way, she'll have stitches, and a collar. She can't be left alone for more than a few hours.
I really want to not be away from her for two days, anyway. I'm not quite...something. Together in my head? I'm unsettled. Exhausted. And very, very worried.
