Oh, you're kidding....

Late as usual this morning, I was skidding across the bedroom, dripping wet from my shower, when I saw my phone blinking. Holding my towel with one hand, I pick up the phone, see my boss has called twice, and call back-- though putting a Bluetooth in a wet ear is no fun.

I'm not needed today. They are agonisingly slow-- they only did $500 for all of yesterday.

While yay, I'm all for spontaneous snow days, this means, of course, I could have stayed out later last night. And of all days, WHY do I have to have off on a day when LiveJournal is going down? I mean, seriously? Whatever shall I do? Aside from watch puppies, of course, and get ready for the Susan Tedeschi show tonight with an old, old PARF friend?

I sense an emergency temporary shutdown mode in my future.
