Better than nothing.
Feb. 8th, 2007 03:36 amI didn't get as much done today as I'd hoped to, but a lot did get done, nonetheless. I had Minion Leah for about five hours, and she cut loops for several corset linings, which already had interlinings. I got the dark terra cotta embroidered corset in Rhoda's pattern to a good point, sewed loops on all the rest of the corsets, and cut outer fabric for three of them. I have, then, potentially five new corsets, if I work like a dog tomorrow. Of course, I do have to go out and get still more busks. And thread-- I have a green Chinese dragon corset cut, and a lovely Asian-style butterfly-covered red, but no suitable thread for them.
I toyed with the idea of making up a White Rose corset, but I don't really want to cut that silk until I have a definite order.
Speaking of which, I haven't forgotten the three outstanding orders I do have, including the Black Rose for
caitriona27 and the cobalt stomacher for
morriganswitch.
I should have been asleep ages ago. Snort. Setting my alarm these days fills me with a vague, offended snobbery. Poor, poor me. The horror!
