Leipheimer joins Discovery
Levi Leipheimer is set to leave Gerolsteiner and renew his working relationship with Johan Bruyneel by becoming the Discovery Channel team leader for the next season. The American, 32, rode for Bruyneel's US Postal team in 2000 and 2001, finishing third in the Vuelta in 2001.

Ullrich linked to Discovery
Jan Ullrich is reportedly in talks with Discovery Channel after it emerged that the German will have one last pop at Tour de France glory. Ullrich was fired by his team T-Mobile last Friday following his implication in the recent Spanish doping scandal 'Operacion Puerto'.

Lance meets organisers
Jean-Marie Leblanc said that a meeting between Lance Armstrong and race organisers went well with both sides showing "mutual respect" on Saturday. The American had originally said that he did not plan to meet Tour organisers, preferring to stay "with friends" while visiting the Tour de France.
