Wench boards. Someone's debating with me quite civilly that it's fine that the Religious Right is gearing up to fight the HPV vaccine. I'm tossing out articles from Science Magazine, Washington Post, etc. I'm saying that the RR is using the same tactics the Bush administration has been using for years: you don't have to say an idea is wrong, you just have to sow the seeds of doubt about it, quote important-sounding people, and let public opinion do the rest. I remark that as recently as two years ago, I had someone tell me he didn't believe in global warming. To which said Wench replies, essentially, neither does she.

If I'm going to be a debater, I have to really build up some stamina, dammit.
