Still pondering.
Nov. 22nd, 2005 11:24 pmSeems I'm looking at roughly $600rt, give or take a bit, if I fly Virgin or BA. Virgin's slightly cheaper, but I'd have to get to New York or Newark, and there goes that money.
www.portobellogold.com has rooms for £55 a night ("But don't bring your cat, as there's no room to swing it!"), as does www.stmargaretshotel.co.uk. Still, if I go for two weeks, I'm looking at somewhere around $1500. That's a lot of corsets.
Then there's food, travel, and all the things I want to buy when I'm over there that I've been pining for for fifteen years. I have no idea how much all THAT would cost.
