My whole head is annoying me. My sinuses are waaay overfull, my eyes occasionally try to float out of their sockets, I'm getting really tired of running across the apartment to catch my nose, and every time I sneeze, my dog has barking fits. I think she's laughing at me, but I'm not sure. I have a feeling the cats were annoyed with me, as well, for being home all day and interrupting their daylong naps with my inconsiderate illness. Though they were perfectly happy about curling up next to me for warmth.
Which reminds me: what the hell? Was that hail? Whose idea was that?
How much do houses with yards rent for in Carlisle? Lancaster? Reading? Morgantown? Anyone know?
Oh, sweet Jesus. If I feel this bad tomorrow, what on earth am I going to do? I can't afford more time off-- I have, perhaps, three days for the rest of the year after faire and the High Holidays.
One good note for the day: I got my new check card. Thank you, Wachovia.

Date: 2006-05-16 12:10 pm (UTC)Hey, wanna buy a twin house in Lancaster or such area... you purchase one and we get the other and this way we'll know who our neighbor is! ;-)
Yes, that was hail. We watched for a bit with the front door open & storm door closed & Mauser went off barking at the stuff. Star hid between my legs. She didn't like it.

Date: 2006-05-16 03:14 pm (UTC)Poor Star. I was doing a fitting once in Pittsburgh. and I'd brought Kayli with me. It started to thunder and lightning shot across the sky-- suddenly, I looked down as I was pinning my client's bodice, and found my dog had wedged herself between us, almost under the client's gown.
It was hysterical. Well, for us, at least. For Kayli, not so much. But she got big lovings and reassurances.
