I'm booked.

I'm actually going. U2's "Bad" was playing on the iPod and I cried. Until, of course, I realised I'd booked it all wrong and had several frantic minutes on the phone with Expedia and Wachovia straightening everything out. But I'm booked. It's real. Saturday, I go to get my passport paperwork done. I'm going to London.

Oh, wow.

OH! And I'm going to the second night of Coriolanus at The Globe!

Congrats. I know you'll love it, so quit ripping out your hair over it. :)

Nicely done! Regular season at the Globe starts 5 May, so you're just catching it. How much was the ticket to the performance? The tour is highly recommended as well, and is only $15 though BA's website.

Anyway, have fun, and watch out for strange boys with long red ponytails while you're there!!

I just find it interesting that the theatre you are going to was founded by an American. Bloody Yanks!

Oh, trust me, I know. I kept saying, "I'm going home!" Best part is the hotel's only a few blocks from where I used to live.

I know-- I could have moved some stuff around and gone to opening night, but I've been backstage on too many opening nights. I'll go second night when the jitters may have calmed somewhat. And you bet your sweet patootie I'm doing the tour. The ticket was 31, I believe.

And are you coming over?!

RE-founded. That crazy writer guy was one of the early investors.

But yeah, I think it's funny, too.

Heh. It wasn't so much the making up my mind as the "Oh, my G-d, I'm really gonna do this!"

How about Wednesday? And Audrey would love to join us.

I might surprise you - e-mail me your flight details and I'll investigate. Unfortunately, because of both that time frame and the proximity to the date, airfares have increased dramatically - the cheapest published fare from the U.S. has nearly doubled just in the last 48 hours!!

BTW, check out how good (or bad) your seats are at: http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/British_Airways/British_Airways_Boeing_777-200.php Note that BA's Triple-7's have two configurations, one of which is not pictured- but look at Virgin's or NW's configuration for the alternate.

Oops, forgot: the ticket was 31 pounds or dollars? It does make a tiny difference nowadays... ;-)

Woot! I'm playing catch-up on LJ again... you've probably posted elsewhere *when* you're going? If not, do tell. ;)
