see--I think you're wrong.

I don't think it ended really, really badly.

You're still friends. You're still IN a relationship together, even if it isnt' the one you wanted. It may have gone to a different place than you wanted, but it didn't end really badly.

Seems to me that it depends on your point of view, actually. For the bear it ended in a really fine bit of sushi.

Oh, we were more just laughing about all the horrible things that've gone horribly wrong since we've known each other. And no, it definitely hasn't permanently ended, as in blood-and-sushi.

Though I AM dying for some good salmon sashimi....
