I didn't make it to services. Again. I suck. But I'll be there for Yom Kippur, which I always deem the more important, anyway. Though I keep saying I need to hear the shofar. Okay. Next year. Again. Now begin the Days of Awe, and as usual, I have a lot of thinking to do.

I did get some napping done. Made an appointment with a new doctor, as the last one hasn't impressed me. Got to the bank, thank G-d, as I realised my rent check was going to bounce extremely hard. Even better, they cashed the check and deposited it as cash, so it's in instantly. Nothing like cutting it close, hm? Now for my electric, and my car insurance, and maybe some groceries, and....

I should have a few corsets in hand this weekend, ready to ship out the following week. Thank G-d. Did half a pattern today-- I'm getting faster with them. Also watched "Serenity" and "The Train Job" again. Almost made it to Serenity with Eric & Erin, but alas, no dice. Anyone else in town looking to go?

Gah. Bed.

Happy New Year!

I had to try and explain to my students yesterday the religious holidays of the week... there is Rosh hananah (which I can pronouce but not spell) and Yom Kippur and also Ramadan. Kids completely didnt get it. Starting whining that we should get off for Jewish and Islamic holidays too... And then I told them they could have 1 day off for Christmas, and they got whiny and stopped. Just, take winter break and be happy with it... twerps. I dont get any of MY holidays off...little twerps.

anyways, hope you had a good New Year... and HUGE HUGE HUGS :)

Jewish religion does not count from the Birth of Christ- AD, so while its 2005 AD its 5766 years in the Jewish Calendar (for religious reasons)

At least... thats what I was always told ...
