ysobelleMy desk is all but clear. How the heck did that happen? And why can't I bring work from home? I have enough room for a sewing machine here, I swear. Yeah, it's a little noisier than...um...paperwork, but at least I'd look busy. No one could say I looked like a slacker.
I did a very little bit of straightening last night before finishing pinning Anita's corset. I can see a little more of my floor. It's all relative. What annoys me, though, is that I can't find my makeup bag. I have a horrible feeling it was stolen out of the booth at faire a couple of weekends ago. Not that there was anything extreme in there, but it DID have the vial of perfume I was given fifteen years or so ago in Largo as payment for poetry I wrote for some cast members. By brilliant luck, I went back to the same perfumer and got more of it mixed up for me at GARF Memorial Day weekend. The guy there remembered me from my days as a rose girl. Sigh. Swoon. Anyway, I am annoyed about the $23 brush, and the Sephora powder I'd barely used. But much of the rest of it needed replacing anyway. Well...some of it. Dammit. Most of the expensive stuff was mostly unused.
Back to the salt mines for me, then, I suppose. This is what I get for being girly.
