ysobelleThere is something jaw-dropping, aweing, humbling about experiencing someone's passion fulfilled.
If this man-- men, Peter and Goody-- can do this every night all over the country, all over Ireland, why can't anyone follow their bliss, like Lars says? Why can't anyone envision their mountain and climb it? Climb it to the top and look out over the earth they've left behind and breathe in the air they bought for themselves with hard work and brains and nerves?
It's not, "Why can't I finish this corset?" It's "Why won't I?" What am I afraid of? I haven't built the mountain all the way, I haven't climbed it, there's nowhere to fall.
